How to book

All appointments are booked online through Acuity Scheduling. Book here.

Deposit

A $50 deposit is required to book an appointment.

Package holders

The $50 deposit is waived for package holders. Each package session books like a regular appointment.

24-hour notice

Changes and cancellations need at least 24 hours notice.

Inside 24 hours

If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, Skin Factory keeps the $50 deposit. The same goes for a no-show.

Why

It's a one-person studio. A late cancellation is an hour nobody else can book.

Expiration

Packages and gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Transfers

Gift certificates are fully transferable. Packages are for personal use, but can be transferred to one other person on request.

Refunds

All package and gift certificate sales are final. Unused sessions can be applied toward other services at the original treatment value.

Who this covers

This policy covers skinfactoryla.com and the booking, intake, and newsletter tools connected to it. Skin Factory is operated by Jeff Mendoza, 30 N Raymond Ave #712, Pasadena, CA 91103.

What I collect

• Contact details you give me: name, email, and phone number.
• Appointment details: services booked, dates, and history.
• Intake form answers, including skin and health information that affects which treatments are safe for you.
• Your email address, if you sign up for the newsletter.
• Basic site usage, like pages visited and device type, collected through cookies.

Payments

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. Skin Factory does not store your full card number.

How it's used

• To book, confirm, and remind you about appointments.
• To plan your treatment and keep it safe for your skin.
• To send the newsletter, if you signed up. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

Who it's shared with

Your information is never sold or rented. It's shared only with the services that run the studio, such as Squarespace (website, store, and newsletter), Acuity Scheduling (booking and intake forms), and payment processors, or when the law requires it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to work properly and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Do Not Track

The site does not currently respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information Skin Factory holds about you by calling (626) 807-8426 or writing to the address above. Some records may need to be kept where the law requires it.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and Skin Factory does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
